They had a prix fixe menu for Easter brunch, and it was really delicious. The restaurant was gorgeous, the service was amazing, and the food was out of this world. I can imagine the "regular" menu is even more to die for. It's not a cheap place to eat, but it's an amazing splurge for a trip to NYC!

The staff were so attentive. The food was fantastic. A couple special treats that were awesome. Next time in New York we will be back. Scallops delighted. Wife had short ribs and the just melted in your mouth.

Four of us ate at Craft and had a most wonderful meal at lunch. They had a three course special that appealed to each of us and even allowed substitutions (e.g., two appetizers and an entree instead of an app, entree and dessert) in our selections. We sat there for almost two hours and never felt rushed. The wait staff... More

Went here for our anniversary dinner! Service was above and beyond with a dedicated anniversary menu, complimentary champagne and dessert. The food was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. One of the top restaurants we've ever been to!

We were in NYC for our anniversary and wanted to do something nice, so chose craft. We left the restaurant with a literally bad taste in our mouths. Had nearly every single dish not been over salted, we would have enjoyed it more. What really ruined the experience was the rude staff and slow service. I know I look like... More

Big Johnny and the guys went to Craft for a little business dinner after taking care of a few things in Flatiron. The portions were small but the price wasn't. Good wine list. The Oysters were good, but $55 for Dover Sole is pricey. The Sole was also a little dry. Service was attentive but you can do better for... More

Had a great dinner at Craft! To begin with - the wine selection is fantastic! It is rare to find a wine list that has even one Bandol yet here there were multiple options! Lot of other choices as well - we opted for a Cornas and it was quite enjoyable. Had the halibut for dinner which was perfectly cooked... More

Sat at the bar / lucky to grab a spot -- Friendly bartender - fantastic food -- one of the best list of wines by the glass anywhere - I think because it's Colicchio's flagship he pays special attention to it -- always great

A perfect way to start our 25th Anniversary week celebration! Fantastic server who was excellent balancing giving us time to chat but being attentive. He NAILED a wine recommendation which was perfection with our meal. Didn't taste the foie grass but husband loved, beet salad was so flippin good. Mixed mushrooms & cauliflower side dishes were excellent with our fish... More

Craft continues to deliver stylish food with good service even after all these years. We enjoyed the cavatelli and foie gras as starters and followed it up with the short ribs and the Dover sole with sides of mushrooms, potato purée and broccoli. Yes it was all good and beautifully presented but whereas Craft was once a leader now there... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
