I went for lunch and enjoyed a gin cocktail, kale salad, and octopus. It was all so good! A little pricey but worth it for a special occasion. The octopus was particularly superb. And I couldn't even finish my salad as it was all surprisingly filling.

This was a wonderful dinner locale in the Flatiron area. Small group of 6 - we had ample room to visit, drink and dine. Service was very good but the food really shined. Pappadell with Korean short ribs melted in my mouth. Other guests entrees looked yummy as well. The mussels as an appetizer is a must! One order was... More

looking for a good fish restaurant near me (this year i was staying at an apartment on 23rd street) i came on a new opening that might be worth trying. the rather too rare for "medium" salmon was excellent and came with a draping of crunchy stir-fried brussels sprouts--the only way this brassica should be eaten. glad i sat at... This place gets a wow from me, a dedicated foodie. If you like steak and lobster at a very reasonable price without sacrificing quality, you will be highly satisfied. My wife ordered the 20 oz. ribeye med-rare and it was not only cooked to perfection but was the finest we've enjoyed in years since I'm convinced that prime meat in... More

First of all, this is a very attractive place... not exactly the Hamptons but it'll do the trick if you're looking for NYC by the sea. The happy hour $5.00 for wine and $4.00 for draft beers is one of the best in the city. In addition, even though it seems that every bar in Manhattan is offering them, do... More

I've been here a few times for lunch (great bloody mary!), but the last month I have been here more than a few times for their great happy hour specials! Get a nice spot at the bar and the bartenders take care of you very well especially if they recognize you (which they are great at!). Has a nice Hamptons... More

Ate lunch here today. A BLT in mid-August should not, under any circumstances, be made with a limp, pallid tomato. Imagine what you'd get at a fast food restaurant in February. Seriously that bad. A shame, because sourdough bread and bacon were actually pretty good.

The food was good, I had the lobster roll. Atmosphere was nice and relaxed, but the table and seating arrangements was very odd.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
