We came here for brunch after reading the great reviews on it. Needless to say, Robert certainly didn't disappoint. The sound level was perfect and the view was spectacular, overlooking Columbus circle and Central Park. I ate the most delicious ice cream here, it was cilantro and basil. I have not come across it anywhere else! The service was also... More

Had lunch here for the first time with work colleagues. The restaurant is beautiful with an incredible view of Central Park and Columbus Circle. Service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food was just average and in a couple of cases, less than average. We were six people. Four ordered salad with salmon. They enjoyed their meal but said it wasn't out... More

Came for dinner here before the ballet. They were able to accomadate us even though I was 20 min late for our reservation on a Saturday night. What would have made the evening perfect would have been a table by the window. We shared the burrato and tomato appetizer and my daughter had the sweet potato soup which was just... More

My wife and I booked this for dinner during our honeymoon in New York. The restaurant itself is decorated in a very contemporary way and perfectly fits in with it's location in an art museum. The service from the waiting staff was attentive without being over-bearing and all food was delicious, particularly the filet steak which was exceptional. Great wine... More

We got a table next to the window overlooking sunny Central Park and Colombus Circle. What a stunning view and experience! Very friendly and professional staff and service. Excellent 3-course luncheon menu with a very nice and fine wine selection. I definitely recommend this place for luncheons (small and larger groups). Make a reservation in time as the window tables... More

Amazing location overlooking Central Park - extremely reasonably priced lunch menu , good food and great service. Top floor of the Museum of Arts and Design. easy to get to. Met some fellow travellers there for lunch and we were all thrilled with the choice. Wine list extensive but pricey.

Wonderful stylish restaurant on the 9th floor of the Museum of Arts and design on Columbus Circle. We had brunch on a Saturday morning and it was very tasty. We shared a veggie omelet and the ricotta pancakes and they both were well prepared and well spiced. We especially appreciated the bottomless cup of coffee and the attentive waitstaff that... More

I was over the moon happy to be in this wonderful restaurant! I made a reservation for 12:30 p.m., then later had to call and change the time, and was gladly accepted. I had read prior reviews of this restaurant, and was so excited to come and see what all the fuss was about. This will be now be my... More

Book in advance for a window seat for great views on the corner by Central Park. Hopefully passport control and NY traffic won't delay you like it did us flying in from London. Worth worth a visit!

Robert is a modern American restaurant housed within the Museum of Arts and Design with an amazing view of Columbus Circle and Central Park. Enjoy dinner and a bottle of fine wine from our collection in our beautifully designed dining room. Have a seat in our lounge next to our baby grand piano and sip one of our cocktails.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
