We had a wonderful dinner here. It felt as if we were in Italy- perhaps because it was a very hot day and they had all the doors wide open onto the plaza. They accommodated a large crowd very easily. Food was good; people loved the beautiful beet salad, calamari, and the pastas were excellent. The appetizers were large enough... More

Enjoyed alfresco lunch & bottle of Conundrum. Service was fabulous, pizza delish. Will return next time in that neighborhood.

Has great setting, nice view and lovely decor. But its very expensive and felt a bit like a tourist trap. For such an italian restaurant with genuine looking setting was disappointed waiters mostly spoke neither italian nor english! Food was good, but for that price should have been very very good

After touring around Little Italy and Greenwich Village, we spotted Olio e Piu on the corner and thought it looked cute. So we ventured in to have a glass of wine/beer, a salad and a pizza. The hostess who sat us, very sweet, our server also very nice. Had a verde simple salad - nice, but then unfortunately came the... More

Came across this place by accident, when walking through the Village. A real find - still packed at 4 pm - and we soon realised why. Great food, great service, great atmosphere - and at a very reasonable price.

If you want a good place to eat, nice people waiting, good food, here is one place to sit down and enjoy. On nice days its open sidewalk tables, surrounded by flowers. The food is very good and wine served at perfect temperature. We returned differnt days for brunch, lunch and dinner.

My wife was attracted by the foliage outside and has been wanting to try it since our last visit to NY. The restaurant was attractively dressed (shabby chic) and service was efficient and friendly. The pizzas we had were OK though relatively expensive for what they were.

Inspired by the warmth and comfort of the Tuscan countryside, Olio e Piú and Chef Dominick Pepe bring tradition and authentic Italian cuisine to the West Village. Enjoy fresh, house-made pastas dressed with the highest quality ingredients, like whole Branzino and Steak Fiorentina and a hand-selected collection of excellent wines and cocktails to pair with your dish. An expertly crafted wood-fire oven crackles and glows, cooking house-made dough into perfect, crisp Neapolitan-style pizza while creating an inviting atmosphere. An experience at Olio e Piú is one to remember.

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
