Excellent food and service. The service was excellent and the food was high quality. The amount of food was European style which is not a large amount. The coffe was rich and freshly brewed.

We dined at Manzo on a Monday evening and had great expectations. Our first glance at the menu revealed very expensive pricing on most of the entrees. My husband and I weren't that hungry so for our first course we shared the Mozzarella with poached pears and hazelnut gremolata. The cheese was delicious and fresh and we loved the hazelnut... More

Special dinner with the family who have just flown in from Europe and who wanted to dine at Manzo after all the research they did. We love Eataly and have eaten at their casual Pizza place before. With Manzo we expected a great meal. My salt cod was probably the best of the six dishes. The pasta dishes were all... More

I've been here twice, and I would go back a million times. The place is a calm, simply decorated place in Eataly. The service is flawless and the food is perfect. I am (totally) not a cheese-lover but I tried the Mozzarella and I 100% loved it. The "Farro E Funghi " is a weird but good "salad". The Penne... More

Located in the EATALY complex this small restaurant offers huge flavors. The appetizers were delightful and the main course selection was varied. The short ribs were very tender, and the pasta dish was delicious. After eating have a glass of wine and enjoy the rest of EATALY. You can spend 2 hours just walking around.

I've reviewed the overall Eataly experience separately, so this will focus exclusviely on a lunch at Manzo. I had a daily special of squid ink pasta, while my girlfriend had pasta with bolognese sauce. Both were fine, but I've had similar quality Italian food at other places. I had higher expectations at a restaurant with Mario Battali's name attached. The... More

We went there in a group of seven, and the staff made it possible for us to get seated very quickly. The menu was plentiful and the waiter had great specials. We got our drinks right away and the food fairly quickly. It was worth every minute we waited ... it was mouthwatering good. Hmmm, hmmmm! It was a little... More

Description
Attenzione: Manzo is temporarily closed for renovations from “head to tail”!

The name will stay the same, but get ready for new everything else. Manzo is transforming into a true butcher's restaurant, complete with a redesigned menu celebrating all things meat, a different layout, and an edgy new cocktail menu with a focus on Vermouth. In other words: your favorite restaurant will soon be your new favorite restaurant.

While you wait for us to reopen on March 29 (or maybe even earlier!), enjoy an early taste of the new menu at the Manzo Pop-Up at La Scuola every Sunday from 12-7 p.m. Learn more and book your table!

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
