My husband and I took a recommendation to go to Stone Street for dinner - we had to go early that day, so very few people were in the restaurant.. We checked out all the restaurants there and decided on the Dubliner. The food was great - remember, it's just pub food. Our initial waiter (from Ireland) was also great,... More

Came with a group of fellow employees and while dinner was really good, the attentiveness wanes as we were trying to get more drinks. It was somewhat busy and when our server checked with the table next to us, she then proceeded to ignore us until we call out to them.

My experience suggests that few would return to the Dubliner for the food. The drinks menu, however, offer options for every taste.

Stopped in here after going on the Staten Island ferry for a late lunch. Here with work colleagues I chose the chicken pot pie which was very good. Cold beer and friendly waitress. Would pop in here again when in New York City

An old pub with a good selection of beers. Bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Wait staff and management not so much. Waited for 10 minutes to be seated for dinner while she talked away to what obviously was a friend and eventually left. Great thing is there are so many restaurants in the area to choose from it... We walked and walked, tried several places near Battery Park, and then we saw our Mecca: The Dubliner. Stone St. is aptly named - the restaurants lining the small, winding, cobbled street all seem to have come together to turn the street itself into the best dining room in Manhattan. I had a Whale Tale Ale which I was thrilled... More
