We LOVED this place in Chelsea Market! We stood at the oyster bar and were completely spoilt with the array of oysters available. We ate a lot of them! Accompanied by a glass of vino of course :) Staff super knowledgeable and helpful with making...More

Very simple place at Chelsea market with cheap, teasty lobsters. Cooking time is very short as well. There is no place to sit there, you have to eat standing up, but it worth it. Highly recommended to visit!

The place is a market and a restaurant. You can see how fresh the food is and choose. The lobsters and oysters are delicious…You must try it.

If you love fresh lobster, you can’t get any fresher than The Lobster Place. They steam a fresh lobster on the spot and serve it with butter and lemon. Also worth getting a lobster roll or some lobster bisque from C&P Galley too.

When we went to NY,we ate very flesh lobsters two times. We enjoyed them very much, even if eating place was small and crowded.

As this place is pretty pricey (unless you opt for the take-away sushi e.g.), we only ordered two plates: The tuna tartar (with egg yolk, probably quail, forgot. . .) and the lobster roll. Together with green tea, this was a delight to eat. I'd...More

It is definitely worth stopping by. An interesting experience. The place is always crowded. The food is fresh, and they offer seafood and fish variety. You can eat there or prder to go.

This is a seafood restaurant, not a hotel, more like a market with a clam bar and open seating. Very fresh fish and great NE clam chowder. Enjoy.
