This place is GREAT for some Southern homestyle cooking! They take up 2 floors with a bar downstairs & table seating upstairs. It gets pretty loud & rowdy bc there are TV's throughout playing sports and it is right across the street from MSG. If you can get passed the beer, sports & testosterone, it really is a fun place... The bbq sauce options sucked because the pulled pork doesn't come with sauce The fries i may have just caught a bad batch so i will excuse those The portions... More

I have been wanting to try Jimmy's for some time and I was not disappointed. Met an old buddy for lunch with whom I have eaten a lot of BBQ around the country, e.g., Sonny Bryan's in Dallas and Arthur Bryant's in Kansas City. While Jimmy's is not in the elite class of BBQ joints, it is still pretty darn... More

This is definitely a place worth visiting, but you have to know what you are coming for - over the top southern flavours. I had the Hot Nashville Chicken. If this was just toned down a bit, it would have been amazing! They just over did the seasonings and it overtook the otherwise great taste. Good environment. Good service. Check... More

We go to Brother Jimmy's pretty much every time we visit New York. Always a fun time especially with friends. Typically we get a fish bowl to share or just a round of Pickle Backs at the bar.

We chose a table upstairs on the terrace. It was great watching the world go by as we enjoyed our very large and delicious nachos, and some of the best chicken wings we have had in a long time. The beer was cold and the service was very good. All over a very enjoyable evening for a reasonable price.

The location of this place is awesome if your going to an event at Madison Square Garden. The BBQ isn't the best I've had but it isn't bad at all either. Service is quick and attentive and the place has a great atmosphere to it. Prices are great too considering the location. Reservations recommended as it may be very busy,... More

We had lunch here and couldn't hear ourselves think. I just don't get the point of playing music so loud that you have to yell across the table. We both had the Carolina Pulled Pork, which came with good BBQ beans, OK cornbread, and indifferent fries. The pulled pork had a nice, smoky flavor, but ours was loaded with big... More
