I love burgers. I have had them all over from every kind of establishment. Shake Shack is the absolute best quick service Burger I have ver had. I was still thinking about my meal two days later. Love this place!

Every time i go to the States, i need to stop by a Shake Shack and enjoy a burger and fries. Everything is good, the burgers, the fries, the hot dogs, the shakes. We just love it.

After a bad experience at the Burger King near the 9/11 memorial we said no more burger joints but I'd heard about the shake shack chain and it's not always easy to find a place that our kids will eat at. So basically the shake shack is cooler than McDonald's and Burger King but the burgers and portions are smaller... More

We have ate at other shake shack locations in other cities and stopped in while in the city. The food was great as always. Will stop in this location again if I'm in the city.

We took the train up from DC to do a little "market research" while taping the MarketFoolery podcast on-location for the day. Shake Shack is a popular restaurant for discussion on our show since the company went public so we decided to check it out on the big stage of NYC. This was my first time at any Shack and... More

Burgers are subjective and everyone likes something different, so it helps if you know what style of burger you like. Shake Shack is part of the double patty (double stack) trend (single party also available). You get two patties with gooey American cheese and lettuce and tomato (other configurations available). The whole affair comes wrapped in a potato bun which... More

Burger was really good! Liked the special sauce. We got the cheese fries as well. Really like the cheese they used on them. Good food for price!

If I could get married with a burger, I would get married with a shake shack burger. There are delicious burgers, fries and shakes. I'm so lucky about finding this place. I go back there without thinking twice.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
