This is my favorite bakery. I must go every day that I am in NYC, and visit before leaving to bring back banana pudding to the fam.

We stopped at the Magnolia Bakery on our way from the Grand Central Terminal, once we arrived in New York City. We brought the two items to the hotel, so we could enjoy them while we unpacked at The Muse Hotel. Our two choices were a lemon square and a mini cheesecake. Both were really good. The staff was friendly... More

Spoiled for choice when it comes to dessert, from pies to meringues to macarons! Although the cupcakes are expensive they are worth the splurge! Loved the Lemon Bars too!

I have to say I was a little disappointed by this place. It's definitely not bad and the service was just fine. No one was rude but for all the hype I was a little let down by the taste of the cupcakes. I found them to be too sweet compare to other bakeries I been too. Also way too... More

This joint at grand central is just phenomenal, I tried the carrot cake and the blueberry jubilee. They had run out of banana bred pudding so I guess I am coming back soon

A little pricey, but they have the best cupcakes and they're pretty. They are large enough for two people, but who wants to share.

It smells like sugar. Everything looked wonderful but we fell in love with the Red Velvet Cheesecake! Holy Cow; this is a home run. And you never know who you might run into in New York!

we made a quick "pit stop " on the sex and the city tour at the Magnolia bakery. Staff were really friendly and the cheesecake was AMAZING!

I stopped for a quick pick me up. The banana pudding was delicious. The cup cakes were also very good.

So disappointed, was at Grand Central and got a cupcake to go....didn't bite into it until I was home, so dry and stale! Would have returned it if I could.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
