If you can snag one of the few tables at the back of this gorgeous shop, do it. We came in out of a rainstorm and were delighted that there was an open table. The servers are happy to recommend a tea if you have questions. Don't miss out on the delectable vanilla cream scones. Delicious with clotted cream and... More

I first had Harney & Sons Tea in Bermuda and fell in love with it. I was walking around Soho and stumbled across it. I went in and had a lovely pot of tea and a scone. Nice find, can't wait to go back.

I've loved Harney & Sons' teas for about 5 years now, and I was thrilled to discover that they had a tea lounge in SoHo, as I was staying in the neighborhood. I was so pleased with my experience there that I returned on my last afternoon. To eat, I had the cheese and chive scone, which was moister than... More

I'm a tea addict and I loved this place. It was like being in Disney World with so many kinds of teas. I didn't know which ones to get, I wanted to buy them all! It has a little café/tea room. Totally recommend it if you like goos tea.

Primarily a retail store with a small tea-bar in the back. Huge tea selection for purchase and knowledgable sales agents. Each customer can request a tasting of one tea.

Wonderful, spacious tea emporium. Two teas if the day to sample, if you'd like to. Lovely triangular, silky-type tea bags in metal canisters, huge flavor selections, lovely to give as gifts, or gift to yourself! I received a Harney & Sons beautiful tin of Decaf Hot Cinnamon Tea---lived it so much, & wanted to buy more. I happily discovered this... More

I sat at the cafe in the back and had a cup of herbal tea (Mother's Bouquet -- it has rose in it), the vanilla scones, and a lychee-rose flavored macaron. They were all good. You can get a proper tea service here. I also got to sample different teas they had brewed -- black tea, a flavored green tea,... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
