Made pre-show reservations for party of 12 (yes, I know it's a large party!!!) and though we were seated promptly, everything went downhill from there. There was ONE waiter on duty for the whole restaurant and he chose to practically ignore our party. When he did come over, he wanted to take food orders and said he would come back... More

The food was absolutely delicious! Instead of having a dedicated server, it was a team effort by the restaurant. It is not the place to go if you're in a rush, however.

Mr. Sirio Maccioni, the founder of the legendary Le Cirque and its off-spin Circo (both words signifying 'circus' in French and Italian, respectively) should be very dismayed at the downward evolution of his famed restaurant empire. Don't get it wrong - the food is still great, the preparation and the colorful presentation are very good, the interior designed in the... More

We sat for 1 and 1/2 hours and never received our meals. We needed to see a show so had to leave without eating! Never have I had such a bad experience. Service was non-existent ...and when we returned the food was mediocre and we were only comp-ed dessert and I don't eat dessert! Appalling experience!!!

This fun Italian Restaurant continues to be a favorite of ours each time we visit Manhattan. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the Italian food excellent. While an upscale restaurant, it appears to also be fun for the kids. You won't be disappointed when you dine here.

We had a fabulous lunch with cousins who dine here often. Food and service were divine. Authentic. Spacious and well lit. The restaurant was full and not noisy. Will return for sure

We ate here before a play after walking by and noticing the pre-theatre menu ($39 for appetizer and entree and dessert for an additional $5 from 5:30 -6:30 pm). The drinks were generous and brought with the shaker (my husband had a regular martini and I tried the pear martini which was delicious and garnished with slices of fresh pear).... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
