Biryani Cart had Excellent food, perfectly spiced. We saw it while walking on the streets and decided to give it a try. I could eat there everyday. Food is well priced too.

This location of Biryani Cart has diligent service and fresh lamb. The Kati Rolls are great. Good prices!
This place is a staple when we come to New York. No matter where we have been we will travel miles to get a Kati roll from this place. We had the chicken biryani and the lamb kati rolls on this occasion. They were awsome.
As a self proclaimed biryani queen, this was just average biryani. The chicken was tender, the rice was kind of unseasoned. I prefer my biryani with the bone in chicken as I think that's the most flavourful. For $7 dollars it was ok - my...friend and I got chicken mcnuggets after.More
After spending $21 at McDonald's for dinner one night, I checked out Biryani cart and got an excellent biryani dinner for only $6. 100% recommended, great food and prices.
Food carts are awesome in NYC. The Biryani cart does an AMA zing job of making authentic dishes in such a small space. I usually get chicken biryani with all of the sauces. You will find that it actually has all of the ingredients like...cinnamon, star anise and other spices that you will find as you eat it. For $7, it is one of the best meals you will have in the city.More
This was my 6th visit to this food cart ( avg 2 visits every NYC trip) and if you are anywhere near the 6th and 46th, this is definitely a must visit. The food is delicious, freshly prepared and has the genuine Indian flavors to...it. It’s reasonably priced and one plate easily makes a filling meal for a single person. The only down side is that there is no place to sit to relish the hot meal (a common factor with all food carts) but Times Square is just a min or two away or one can always find a bench at walking distance.More
Beware of copy cats! There is only one real Biryani Cart and it is awesome! I found it through trip advisor and the ratings are well deserved, the Biryani is really good, I had it two days in a row! Very convenient location for tourists...,right near Times Square, tried the Kati rolls too which weren’t anything special but would definitely recommend the Biryani.More
Tastier food had chicken kati roll and chicken biryani . Best Indian food cart. Must go street food cart when in NY. Waited at the cart for a while but food was worth waiting.
Food was not exceptional nor above average. Had the chicken tikka masala over rice and I appreciated the fact that they had the selection unlike the regular halal carts. The CTM was dry and a bit bland. I would have it again to fill a...quit craving and for bulk hunger buster but not for satisfying a flavor craving. Price was very fair at $6.00. Note: I had yelp voucher/offer for a free water or soda from them and they did not honor it. They said they couldn't do it.More
I dint want to go WOOHOO THE FOOD IS GOODD but i have to. The food is clean and fresh and soooo very tasty.. GO HERE!!
Real good food 200 meter from Times Square. This foodtruck have an indian kitchen style, we were recommended it from a friend who lives on upper west. We tryed best chicken/lamb ever with rice and also the kati-rolls. Real cheap and fresh.
First thing first... It's not a restaurant, but a food cart. No chairs or tables to sit. Limited menu items... And this is where the 'not so good' things end..... The food is amazingly tasty and served freshly made and hot. I come from india...so I know the menu and flavours very well. It reminded me of food served at some of the good restaurants out there. The guy preparing the food is a humble man too. Price wise probably the cheapest food you will get and serving size is good. Make sure you eat his special Kathi Roll and the Rice with chicken. If you are looking for place to sit..... Right across his cart on the other side of street there is a sitting place across a theatre. One block away is the Times Square.More
Tried the pune and king kati rolls -- two for just $6! Great value considering the portion size. The wraps are greasy without being overwhelming, the veggies add a nice crunch, and the chicken was well-seasoned. The gentleman manning the cart was friendly even though...it was getting rather chilly on an Oct. evening. Not a bad place to grab a snack or small meal if you're around Times Sq.More
These cart have great food. It is too bad that there is no space to sit down to enjoy your meal. The smells that waft from these cart is fantastic. They never seem to close either.
