WOW! This is an amazing place! We went for dinner on a weeknight and even though we had a 9PM reservation and arrived around 8:30PM, they were packed! So, we waited in the upstairs bar. Upstairs has a really nice-looking seafood bar where can you...More

Lively, fun and great tasy menu. Go for happy hour when oysters are a dollar a piece. Cocltails were good and they made a gin martini just like I prepare at home. I will be back without a doubt. Service was excellent too. Win win...More

I always eat at this small, popular SEAFOOD restaurant when in NYC because not only is the menu incredible with a cultivated wine list to go with it but they source only sustainably caught fish and shellfish. They can answer complex questions about where anything...More

Went here with business colleagues for a mid-week meal. This place was absolutely packed (always a good sign for a fish restaurant) with standing-room earlier at the bar. The tables are quite well spaced apart, meaning it’s unlikely that you’ll get interrupted by someone else’s...More

$22 for a 500ml Finnriver cider is an absolute farce. Completely overpriced and disproportionate to their other beverage prices. Oysters were ok but I've had much better in NYC for a similar price. Company was great. Thankfully we didn't have to pay for that.

Crave is a gem in an otherwise not-so-nice neighborhood for interesting places. A sort of an hipster, city cool address using only sustainable fisheries product. I’ve been very often for lunch and never disappointed. Start with a good selection of East Coast oysters and follow...More

When our group of six dropped into Crave for a birthday celebration we had no idea what to expect, as it's difficult to find a fish-themed restaurant that could creatively deliver a broad range of seafood and drinks. To a person we were all delighted...More

The tuna was amazing! I was on the fence of having a Mexican base for ahi but it was a complete hit! The Brussel sprouts were also perfectly cooked. The side is enough to split. Alex made the best old fashioned I’ve had in a...More

Crave Fishbar is a vibrant, convivial restaurant in Midtown Manhattan serving an inspired seafood menu from chef Todd Mitgang. An eclectic mix of reclaimed materials and custom made chairs and tables lend a beachy, rustic feel to the space, which houses a 25-foot-long bar where guests can order from the full dinner menu along with cocktails and wine from a mounted bottle display. Approachable, sophisticated dishes feature local seafood, crudos, and meat dishes that are thoughtfully prepared with both familiar and exotic ingredients. At the 2nd floor bar you will find a full raw bar shucking up a large variety of East and West Coast oysters. Outdoor seating on both floors. Crave Fishbar has taken its place as a neighborhood fixture, providing locals and newcomers alike with a elegant, inviting experience. Our Oyster Happy Hour is the busiest in NYC with both east/ west coast oysters for $1/each along with drink and food specials so come early and slurp down up to 20 different varieties.
