Cookies are my kryptonite so discovering Schmackary's could be incredibly dangerous. The Smores cookie was the favorite for me and my kids, but I would need to try them all just to be sure. Cute little bakery in a fun part of town to wander. If there's a line, wait. It's worth it.

Had to wait in a line that stretched out the door. Bought these cookies: peanut butter, choc chip, and schmackerdoodle. All 3 were crunchy, not very flavorful, and over priced.

I remember that this place from TripAdvisor review amongs the restaurant near our place. When we arrived a little bit after 9:30pm, so there was no queue at all, but not all cookies are available. The Service was excellent, she explained all the cookies available there, so we bought six as the better option than a single cookies. It's not... More

After our show - The Great Comet of 1812, which by the way is based on the book War and Peace (that's that big GIANT book on your bookshelf you've been scared to read for 25 years) and the play stars Josh Groban (so War and Peace + Josh Groban = somehow I loved it ...WTF?!) Anyways - after the... More

Highly rated and great reviews brought me in. My friends and I left with a variety pack including standard flavors and a couple unusual. We liked them all. Fresh, friendly staff.

The cookies are great. I had a n espresso which as good too, but do we really need to have a cookie shop? I think maybe it's for all those people who want to remember when they lived at home and their mother made cookies. It just seems a little bit extreme to me.

The lines are always long here, but that wasn't the issue. The issue is when it your turn and they run out of cookies they won't tell you how long the next batch is going to take. With that being said I was there Saturday night and when it was my turn there was no more "FunFetti" and Red Velvet.... More

This is a very tiny place with just a few seats and high tables. They serve cookies and brownies, coffee and tea. Service is great, the cookies are large and fresh. The brownie to go was boxed which fit well in a back pack and it travelled well. The price was reasonable and the servers were terrific.

If you are looking for a good dessert choice near Times Square but not overrun by tourists this is the place for you. Interesting cookie choices in a crowded but fun atmosphere. Worth the trip over to ninth avenue.

What started as a love for cookies at a very young age developed into a search for the best darn cookie recipes on the planet...After years of perfecting each recipe, in 2012 Zachary Schmackary finally opened his first brick and mortar store and released these chewy delights to the general public.

We are based in the heart of New York City, with a storefront on 45th Street and 9th Avenue. We deliver door-to-door in NYC as well as ship our goodies Nationwide.

Sounds too good to be true?
Come in and try for yourself, or place an order and have them shipped right to your door...The cookies speak for themselves.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
