We had the traditional tasting menu with the Reservation wine pairing - the meal was absolutely heavenly and the wine pairing was breath taking.......it was worth the price (not for the light hearted).....great fit for my wide palate....very special meal and wine indeed!

My favorite Italian restaurant in NY City. The food is exceptional. It is not outrageously expensive but it is not for the budget traveler. Save it for your special night out.

But I’m not sure it’s worth a second visit. Duck was very good, bolognese tasty, wine list extensive. The pasta, broccoli and sausage dish was marginally awful - not certain what happened there. The lemon olive oil cake was probably the best experience of the...More

On our visit to NYC we decided to try Babbo for my birthday dinner. We took our 15 and 17 year old with us as well. We ordered the Mozzarella di Bufala for an appetizer and it was excellent. The 4 of us each ordered...More

This was my first Mario Batali restaurant outside Eatily and it lived up to the hype. We ordered three different pastas to share and they split them and brought them out as different courses. Service was fantastic and the pastas were exceptional. The rock and...More

We have eaten here several times. It is right across the street from the Washington Square Park Hotel where we like to stay. The food is always inventive, delicious and well-presented. We have never had a bad dish there. Hooray for Marion Batelli!

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
