Well chosen by my son who honeymooned in Vietnam and Cambodia, because they wanted a unique experience. On that trip they learned to love Vietnamese food and culture and wanted to experience it again. Originally we were going to take our group of six to...More

I had a nice dinner here (lemongrass chicken) but was disappointed again with the lack of Gluten free choices. Hard to believe that they can't obtain gf soy sauce. Also the portions seem to have shrunk to appetizer size for the entree.

We were very pleased with the recommendations from our waitress. The Summer Rolls and Shaking Beef were definitely the highlights of the dishes we tried. The Grilled Baby Back Ribs as an appetizer was a bit of a disappointment. They have several non-alcoholic cocktails that...More

Love Vietnamese and had heard good things about this place. Arrived after the theater and the place was hopping. Had to wait only a short while for our table as we were a little early for our reservation. Like the space and the vibe, but...More

Everyone knows about Indochine. Most restaurants fizzle before a decade yet this one is still going strong after 30 years! The style has remained fresh through the years and still maintains a glam-rock aura. The restaurant is filled with both "beautiful people" and regular blokes...More

Indochine is a very upscale, hot place in lower Manhattan with excellent Asian inspired food prepared in exceptionally professional high cuisine manner. Many of the dishes will sound familiar but are distinguished by superbly fresh ingredients and very modern new twists. This is a fairly...More

I think my first meal at Indochine was in the 80s? I was counting my pennies in those days and it was a real splurge. The crowd was beautiful, the space was beautiful, the food was beautiful. And delicious. In the decades since, I've been...More

Very, very good. Beautiful. Expensive but worth it. There is a sense of pretentiousness about the place, though Shaking Beef was excellent. Tender, extremely flavorful. Spicy Chicken Breast likewise excellent and fairly hot (but I like that) Grilled Salmon -- here's where the pretention came...More

The food was very yummy, the place is beautiful and nice for groups of people. I just feel the waiters are very busy and don't have the time to be "nice". They remain very polite but stricly straight to the point. We understand they are...More

Unfortunately due to the snow storm that hit on the day of the show, my friends parents weren't able to make it. But fear not, for when they arrived the next day we had a celebratory dinner to go to at our favourite place, Indochine....More

I've only eaten at Indochine pre-theater and it was not noisy at all then. I don't know if it gets noisier as it gets busier later in the evening. I would strongly recommend though that you request one of the curved booths... More
