Amazing food with an equally impressive view. It took a long time to get a booking here but for a special occasion it was worth the wait.

Absolutely one of the best sushi places i've ever been to. I came here with my mom and my girlfriend for my moms birthday, and I must say that all of us were shocked after every bite we took! It's like tasting South American food in sushi bites, but much more. I'm just very bad at explaining it. Lovely staff... More

We tried this recommendation, we had the combination meal for two people covering all the cuisines - Peruvian, Brazilian and Japanese and it was excellent flavors and tastes throughout - from appetizer to desert it was a delight A great way to to taste the menu - will be back for more

First time visitor to SushiSamba in New York, but we had already eaten in their restaurants in London, Miami Beach and Vegas. The New York branch was just as good. Food superb as always (slight disappointment with Teryaki chicken, but probably being a bit picky). Service was friendly - a little slow in the middle, but they did bring us... More

Love the place and the food, I'm turning into a regular! One of my favourite places for sushi. Service is good and attentive and the menu is inventive enough, so far I've never had a complaint with the food.

Went to this restaurant on restaurant week because of the good and interesting reviews. We had a group of 4 and given a nice table close to the bar. Seating was comfortable and the noise level was acceptable. We looked at the restaurant week menu and decided to go for a la carte instead. We opted for the large platters... More

Fantastic food and atmosphere. The midweek set menu was amazing value at $55 and was to die for. Will definitely come back when we visit NY in the future! The staff were very attentive and we had a lovely female waitress however cannot remember her name!

I really enjoyed the food here. For my taste it's a perfect mix of Peru and Japan. The wonderful freshness of ingredients and spicier seasoning are delicious. It is more expensive than an average sushi restaurant but it's lovely to push the boat out occasionally.

Know this place for years. Good sushi in a nice place with good vibes. In the background there is a bat like music playing, in an accurate volume (not high and not too low) giving a happy vibe going on. The food is good...little bit pricy. Great cocktails...must try some of them😎

Food is amazing and service is consistently good. Love the fusion of foods and it's a great place to go order a bunch of items to share with friends or your honey bunny over drinks!

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
