This restaurant feels like you have gone back in time in NY. Very old school. Small venue with a bar. More like an old Irish pub feel to it but food is good. Simple Italian fare. I had the chicken parmigiana and pasta. Good sized portion and tasty. Others had the risotto and gave positive comments. Always seems busy.

We stopped in here on a Sunday night at 10pm and there was only one other table in the small restaurant. I ordered the penne special with ricotta and meat sauce which was very good. Another in our party of four ordered rigatoni with clam sauce and said it was very good. My sister ordered the risotto and said it... More

We stumbled on this place accidentally when we were out walking around after a fierce pounding of snow. We rounded the corner and saw the quaint facade and knew that a warm italian meal was just what the cold night called for! We were one of the only tables filled that night (because most people wisely were tucked in their... More

We wandered in this small restaurant late on a Sunday and had a pleasant surprise- some of the best Risotto EVER! Linguine Vongole was also very good despite being slightly salty. Service was attentive and I would recommend this restauarant.

We chose this because of its proximity to the Irish Rep Theater and mentioned we had tickets for the 7 p.m. show when we arrived at 5. The waiter wanted to rush us to order but failed to tell us the specials. Once dinner was served from the kitchen staff, the waiter all but disappeared. We had to send someone... More

Close to our hotel (Chelsea Savoy) and just what we needed after a long day of walking our feet off! Intimate Italian restaurant with reasonable prices and good food (and wine, of course!).

If you're going to the Irish Reperatory Theater on 22nd St, this isan easy pre theater dinner option with a discount for ticket holders. It is good, basic Italian. I had the veal marsala and a real Ceasar salad (homemade dressing). They have a good wine list with 1/2

Only ten minutes walk down 7th from Penn Station into Chelsea brings you to this lovely italian restaurant. Well decorated with a regular midweek client group of locals. The service was helpful yet unhurried and the food was a delight! The spaghetti pescatore was packed with a wide range of quality seafood in a very tasty sauce. Altogether an excellent... More

Nice strong Martini's. Irish rep theatre just a few steps away. We had dinner a few months ago and it was decent. Good neighborhood place.

We were looking for a traditional family run Italian and had a pleasant evening meal at this restaurant. The decor is muted and has a certain charm. The food was good, honest fare and reasonably priced. However we felt the atmosphere was a bit lacking in Italian spirit and the manager and waiter didn't seemed that engaged with the customers.
