Any ex-pat Brits who fancy watching a game of football (sorry soccer) in a great location, check this place out. A wide selection of beers on tap, great bar food (including servings of a liquid cheese pan with your fries!), and probably the cleanest toilets...More

Stopped for a beer or two while visiting the city this week. Aura is the shining star of this bar. Wish they had Miller Lite, but they don't. Bud Light and other craft beers only. Food was good. Other servers could learn from Aura.

Staff is extremely friendly, drinks are reasonable and the food is great. I especially like their weekend brunch. The location is convenient in the (slightly) East Village. Joe the owner is the best and if you become a regular, they buy lots of drinks.

We visited this bar during a Saint Patrick's weekend visit. The staff are friendly and the beer is very good. We were asked to move tables to allow an elderly group sit down. As there was only 2 of us this was not a problem....More

My son and I loved stopping in for a beer at Central Bar. The server was super-friendly and attentive and the beer was ice cold!

Place appeared like it just recently opened. Hard to figure out what kind of bar/restaurant it wants to be. Most of the decor was Irish Pub style. Had a decent beer selection, and some interesting handmade signature cocktails, most were made with Bourbon. I had...More

We made a reservation for a large group of 15-18. Great spot. Plenty of room to sit or stand. The waitress was amazing with such a large group. Happy hour cocktails were fun and yummy, and the appetizers were huge and really great quality! Calamari...More

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to
