Had breakfast here. Good to just have a relaxing brekkie meeting. Upscale . Service was a tad slow. I think they had part time students. Found out there’s a huge dining in the basement. And the crowd as coming in. So may try the dining...More

If you are arriving with a stroller go through the hotel and take the elevator down. Service is always very good. I like their breakfast and lunch; have not been there for dinner. Coffee is nice and strong, all breakfast/brunch items are good. There is...More

This is a popular restaurant on the corner of Prince and Spring. The downstairs dining room was very crowded when we visited and quite noisy. Service and presentation was good and the menu offered reasonable choice. The fish dish I had was served with slightly...More

Great food and a fun ambience! Buratta appetizer and sea bass were very good. Madeleines were the best!

This is my third time to Mercer’s Kitchen, and it has never disappointed. It is a fun restaurant, but always busy and fairly noisy. Good Pople watching.

Reservation booked by a friend. This restaurant was off my radar. But I was pleasantly surprised! We shared some fri calamity which was both light and crispy and deliciously seasoned with a nice tangy dippy sauce. I had the grilled sea bass which came on...More

Sadly our experience was less than we hoped for. This is the 5th time I have been to Mercer, and by far our server this evening spoiled the entire experience. She had the personality of a cold pancake. My wife and I chose Mercer for...More

Vibrant and fun restaurant with great selection of menu items. Cocktails were great too. It's a bit noisy to have conversation amongst 4 people at table but love the ambience and the decor.

If you can get a table at the ground floor restaurant this is great, bright and light. The big basement is dark and gloomy. Burger is very good but the roast lamb sandwich was boring and tasteless $18. Service is prompt and the manager responded...More

I really like their veal milanese, my husband likes heir ribeye. I would probably describe their dinner menu as basic American fare...with a gourmet twist.

Description
Located at the Mercer Hotel, Mercer Kitchen brings a chic, sophisticated vibe to the heart of SoHo. When Mercer Kitchen opened in 1998, it immediately became a destination for New Yorkers, celebrities, and tourists. Situated in the basement of a historic building constructed in the 1800s, the restaurant was designed by Christian Liaigre as a combination of industrial and classic modernism. Chef Jean-Georges' American menu features market-driven, seasonal ingredients prepared in a simple yet elegant style, with favorites like the Tuna Spring Roll, Steamed Shrimp Salad, wood-fired pizzas, and classic Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake. There is an open kitchen, where guests can sit back and watch the show. The perfect restaurant for group dining, special events and celebrations.
