It is a genuine place with decent service and prices. Although the AYCE menu is not to recommend. Quality of sushi is very standard and you have to really enjoy to eat very much for this to be worth it.
The food and atmosphere are austere and tranquil. The flavors are direct and dishes are prepared with care. One can become almost meditative over tempura or miso-flavored fish. All of this is such a nice contrast to the manic craziness often found in New York...More
Mediocre Sushi and super slow service. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our menus. The atmosphere is pretty nice but that's really about it. It's comfortable but I probably wont be back.
Nope...too many good Japanese places in town to waste time on this one....
This is a comfortable neighborhood Japanese restaurant. The food is always fresh - the rolls are good - the service is good. The restaurant is always filled - a pleasant dinner out for us on the upper west side.
