Not a bad place for lunch. They do have a varied menu - not just chicken. I had a chicken platter with a couple of sides. It was OK.

Been coming here for years but now coming less and less. Food is still good but service and eat-in isn't as nice as it used to be. For grilled chicken in this price range they still beat out the competition. You get good mashed potatoes and hot gravy, chickens are juicy, wonderfully seasoned skin, and a hunk of pita. Burgers... Fast, easy. Sometimes chicken is too well done. Ask for juicy.

Lovely ribs et. al. (particularly the cole slaw)! Tip: takeout the ribs, garb beers at the next door deli and walk over to Carl Schultz Park for a lovely picnic--particularly at sunset!

Their 1/2 or 1/4 chicken dinner with side is a great meal and a great value. Great buffalo wings, but get extra blue cheese dressing as they are stingy with this! Salad with grilled chicken is good, too.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
