Benito One was truly great food and reasonably priced. Authentic and not touristy; plenty of locals were there, too. This will be our go to place every time we come back to New York!

Absolutely one of the highlights of my last trip to NYC. With hundreds of great Italian places in New York...this is the winner for me. I got the Cannelloni, Wife got the Penne Arrabiata. Wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
As an old Italian original restaurant should be . Not huge and spacious ( they are not meant to be) but friendly tractional with great food and wine . Recommended
This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in NYC. They even have a prix fixe menu which makes it better because you can try a little bit of everything at a very affordable price! It is a small restaurant but the service is really...More
Returned for dinner before leaving NYC. We were not able to get a table for 4 on Friday evening, but they managed to squeeze us in, if we agreed to come early at 4:30. Glad we came back! You’ve got to try the Veal Annarella-absolutely...More
This is a fantastic family owned and operated restaurant. Authentic Italian food with fresh local ingredients. They treated us like family and the kindness and generosity of the family rivals the food! Excellent choice for couples, families or small groups. Seats about 40 people so...More

Stopped by for lunch. Bruschetta was the best we ever had. Meals were delicious as well. Service was very good. Owner helped us get a seat without a reservation. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Normally I don’t leave reviews but I had to for this one. My wife and I were in little Italy last week and decided to come in for lunch. She had baked Spaghetti and I had the waiters recommendation, (chicken pasta meal). It was the...More
If we did, you would never come back to visit us in Little Italy. We love the invitation and we all thank you very sincerely. James
Quite small and crowded. Great, friendly service. Veal parmigiano had more breading than veal. The cheese was burnt black on two orders, but not on the chicken parmigiano. My linguine was almost cold, the pasta overdone and the sauce pretty much tasteless. Plates were quite...More
Glad none of you will return. Olive Garden will welcome you with open arms. (sarcasm back to you) Sincerely James
