While waiting in line at the TKTS booth (half price Broadway show tickets), we were handed a flyer for this restaurant. Ten percent off and a free glass of wine. Two and four course dinners. They don’t take online reservations so call, text or email....More

Looking for a French restaurant in the theater district, we visited Pergola on a Saturday evening at 6:00 for dinner. Pergola has the true feel of a French Bistro. The food was excellent as was the service. Yes, the restaurant was completely full with much...More

We found Pergola on the internet, and gave it a try 2 days ago before a show. We were not disappointed, rather very impressed! Small, quaint, friendly, efficient staff. Definitely make a reservation. The French Onion soup and Duck were wonderful. The duck was very...More

Ate here with a large group. The Italian food they serve is authentic, this is NOT Olive Garden italian food. The eggplant paremsan was very tasty and cooked just right. The chicken cutlet in mushroom sauce with rice was good, but it could have used...More

We visited this small restaurant for pre-theatre dinner. One difficulty is that the service is disorganized-different waiters waiting on each table ( or so it seemed). I ordered the shrimp bisque & it was delicious! The lemon sole was also quite good. My partner was...More

Three of us stopped here for an early dinner after a Saturday matinee-we had been here before, so were able to find it easily (it is a very small storefront, next to a tattoo shop, easy to miss!). We did not have reservations, and were...More

We have eaten at Pergola Des Artistes many times over the years, It is located in the middle of the theater district. Unlike many theater district restaurants, it is cozy, affordable, and the food is consistently good. Not at all pretentious. Lunch is very reasonable...More

It sounds like an overlooked treasure - family run for 50 + years, a little French bistro tucked among the towers and hot spot restaurants of the Theater district. If all you want is a decent pre-show meal at a very good price this is...More

Incredibly reasonable for a French Restaurant on Theater Row right next to Les Miserables. I would say dinner for two is between $75 and $90 (before tip) with two glasses of wine, desert, appetizers, coffee and dessert... More

Pergola Des Artistes is a small family-run French restaurant, located in the heart of Times Square and the Theater district. Established in 1963, the decor is still simple and reflects Marie & Jacques' vision of what small French restaurants looked like in their home town of Cominac, in the French Pyrenees. If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price, Pergola des Artistes is for you. If you want haute cuisine, you won't find it here. Many of the recipes were brought over from small villages in France. Today, Christian, Marie and Jacques' son, runs the restaurant. The restaurant has always been a place where tourists, locals and the theater crowd can get a good meal and be out in time for a show.
