We were treated like royalty. Food was outstanding, waiters were excellent. Cost was low for the quality of food. We will dine here again!!!

The only upside to this choice is that it is in the heart of the theater district. Other than that, the food was so so, the menu and decor are tired, and the service was remarkably bad. There are so many restaurants to choose from...More

Dining at Pergola has been a 35 year habit I will not break when attending the theater in New York. Though small and slightly cramped this classic theater district bistro style restaurant serves excellent French cuisine in good sized portions. Their 4 course dinners include...More

If you are looking for Bistro food, this is the place. Perfect for before theater (or after). It's right in the middle of NY's theater district. We go there every chance we get. A couple of times every month.

We were up for some comfort food while staying in Midtown,so we consuted TripAdvisor, and went to Pergola design Artists. Good choice. This is a theater neighborhood, so here's some advice. If you're going to a show, go early. If not, go at 7:30. Crowded...More

Get the duck or the lobster crepe early on in the evening before they sell out! Delicious. Everything on the menu is excellent - there is nothing you will regret ordering. Came back several times. Was travelling in New York, wish they could ship their...More

Full dinner with wine - around $100 and we were stuffed to the gills. If I remember correctly, the 3 course fixed price dinner was about $38.

Are you honoring the matinee specials on Valentines day? We are going to a 2PM show, and would like to have dinner afterwards. So I would say 5PM reservations would be ok. Please let me know asap. Mike A.

Pergola Des Artistes is a small family-run French restaurant, located in the heart of Times Square and the Theater district. Established in 1963, the decor is still simple and reflects Marie & Jacques' vision of what small French restaurants looked like in their home town of Cominac, in the French Pyrenees.

If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price, Pergola des Artistes is for you. If you want haute cuisine, you won't find it here. Many of the recipes were brought over from small villages in France.

Today, Christian, Marie and Jacques' son, runs the restaurant. The restaurant has always been a place where tourists, locals and the theater crowd can get a good meal and be out in time for a show.
