Little Italian restaurant with delicious, thin base square (not round) pizza. What is also really nice is you can order half-half pizza. Attentive staff, clean bathroom, cozy and not over priced. I will recommend them.

Great little restaurant situated in the fashion district. The pizzas are fantastic, great toppings on a crispy base. The staff are really nice as are the prices.

We luckily found lazzara's again this trip. It is great food, an oasis in the fashion district, old school atmosphere, and very good prices. Busy and energetic at lunch, but dinner is much less on crowds, but still perfect before a show!

Lazzara's bills itself as NY's best thin crust pizza. If you're looking for a pizza pie or pizza by the slice, you won't find it here I didn't realize this when I came to Lazzara's and when my half pizza arrived, I was frankly shocked, but the flavors were so good and the crust so perfectly cooked and crunchy, I... Visited here twice on our 6 day break. It was an accidental find but was a brilliant one. Don't be put off by the outside appearance - once you get inside the food is amazing, the staff are really friendly and accommodating and do whatever they can to help. The food is not overly expensive and is incredibly filling. The... More

It is our last night in NYC and we were looking for somewhere close to our hotel. This restaurant came up on several reviews and uses Trip Advisor and Open Table so we thought we'd give it a shot. It is located in an old apartment building on the 2nd floor. Apparently there are still apartments above it in the... More

Like others who rated it average, better pizza can be found elsewhere. Service wasn't bad, not attentive and not very happy to be there.

There are more types of Pizza than days in the year. For me, thin crust with crunchy edges and fresh ingredients wins. If you fall into that category, take the time to stop by Lazzara's Pizza. You won't be disappointed.

We've had a girls trip to NYC for 3 years now, and this is always our first stop for lunch. It never disappoints! The thin crust pizza is delicious, salads are fresh and wine selection is great! It's doesn't look like much from the outside but once you go inside, you are transported to an old Italian dining room from... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
