We ate at the Tick Tock Diner because the tour group we were with gave us passes for breakfast and we also had dinner as a group there. The food was okay but arrived quickly. My sister's oatmeal was cold one morning but it was quickly and cheerfully replaced

The diner wasn't too busy and we were shown to a table straightaway. The waiter was slow at taking our order and dealt with others that had arrived after us. When the order was eventually taken it took 20 mins just for an orange juice and a chocolate milk, he had forgotten about my husbands cappuccino. We had to ask... More

Visited the restaurant as we were staying in the Wyndham New Yorker and our room wasn't ready. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and the meat looked and tasted as though it had been through a blender. Not great. Chips were ok. Plenty of other great places to eat in New York instead. However what really left a bad taste in... More

Varied menu and very pleasant atmosphere. Some of the waiters can be a bit gruffy but the food is plentiful and good.

We ate at the Tick Tock three times during a stay at the adjoining New Yorker hotel. The food is good, and the atmosphere is fun. A table by the street is a good place for people watching.

Excellent real diner food, excellent real diner atmosphere, pleasant staff, nice and warm when it's snowing like hell outside. Only thing I could wish for is that there's more space between my belly and the edge of the tables in the booths.

Had breakfast here. Ordered blueberry pancakes, got 3 plate sized delicious pancakes with a side of maple syrup. Omg, amazing. Other half had Canadian bacon, eggs, over medium and hash brown. Oh and toast. Coffee kept coming. Can not say enough how lovely the food and how cheerful the service.

We visited NYC recently for the weekend and came across the Tick Tock Diner. It's pretty easy to find and the place is HUGE so there wasn't a wait for a seat.. We all thought that the food was phenomenal! It was served hot, fresh and delicious! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal from egg whites to Eggs Benedict... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
