Excellent service from the moment you walk in the door. It follows throughout the dining experience. The food was just as good. We had the pork chop and the Branzino. Both superb. Would not hesitate to return and enjoy another wonderful meal.

Our group of five met for the prix fixe dinner, ordered various things and shared. Everything was excellent except for one chicken entrée which we found only average. Would definitely return, however. The host, wait staff and servers were excellent, non-obtrusive, not stuffy.

I had been wanting to try this gem of a restaurant for years, especially since I grew up watching Lidia on PBS and have eaten at Becco and her son and Mario Batali's other establishments. This was a wonderful experience. Started with the Aperol Shandy cocktail and 5 course tasting menu. I went with the manzo crudo, chocolate butternut squash... More

I guess in 1981 Felidia may have been revelatory in those far away days of burgers and apple pie and Maxwell House coffee, but every time I wander into one of these food empires these days, I merely get depressed. The absurdly inflated prices, the food tourists gawking for a view of the tv celeb, the food itself just barely... More

My family and I went at Felidia on the 7th and, although it was Tuesday, the place was full. We booked well in advance, but still we had to wait 45 mins to be seated, which was not a great start of a dinner aimed at celebrating a wedding anniversary. Nevertheless, it was well worth it: very professional service, a... More

I have always loved Lidia and the Bastianich reputation. That is why we were so disappointed in the first visit to Felidia. The four of us left hungry..........the portions were small and the food quality below average. The service was abrupt and inattentive. I have not given up on the family but skip this location.

First the negatives - the restaurant tries to be smart, but the service does not live up to its goals. I found it very slow indeed and not that friendly. the food was good. My punterelle as a starter were great although I wish I had taken the artichoke salad. The tuner was fantastic and cooked to perfect, but it... More

Was seated right at reservation time on a busy Saturday night. Service was a little slow coming over initially, but got much better as the night went on. Wine list is extensive and pricey, but waiter recommended a nice bottle for under 70 dollars. Food was outstanding. Pappardelle with duck and pachieri with sausage and wild boar ragu to start... We met in NYC to celebrate with our NC Granddaughter! Friends had suggested Felidia's. It was everything we hoped for! The service was helpful & attentive without intruding. The food was exquisite. Even the wine choice was perfect! We are all still talking about our incredible evening!! Thank you Liz & Marc for your recommendation!!

We had high hopes for this visit but it missed the mark on as many levels as it impressed. Pros - the service was excellent from waiter, sommelier and the bus boys. Decor was good and pleasant. The menu read well. Cons - twice my Gin and Tonic came back with flat tonic with zero fizz or bubbles, the fegato... More

Felidia is located in a converted Brownstone on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Opened in 1981 by Lidia Bastianich, Felidia offers a warm atmosphere where you can still find Lidia greeting guests and fans.

Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra has been with Felidia since 1996 and has brought an innovative touch to traditional ingredients and dishes from all the regions of Italy.

Some of the restaurant's signature dishes include pear and fresh pecorino ravioli, veal shank ossobucco and limoncello tiramisu.
Felidia also offers a delicious three course price-fixed lunch, Monday - Friday for $29.50 per person, making the restaurant great for business lunches or just a nice afternoon treat.

For parties of 8 or more, Felidia offers our group dining menu rather than the a la carte menu. The group dining menu is a four course menu and includes our most popular dishes and seasonal favorites for $90.00 per person.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
