I had heard good words about Nobu and expected top service and clientele. We did visit on a Sunday evening so it may not be typical night. Cocktails were not overly enjoyable, and my sushi / sushi rolls were not memorable. In fact, the dragon roll was very dry and usually should be served with a sauce. My friend did... More

Food and atmosphere are amazing! One of the best meals I've had this year. I'm a huge fan of Nobu in Milan and London, but it's very different vibes and I definitely prefer the service here. I'm in love with the sushi here, we always try as many options from the menu as possible and they never fail to impress... More

Such a renowned and everything was bad - service, food, price, noise... We went there for a business meeting with the CEO of another company and I just wish we had chosen a different place. Our starters; one salad, a shrimp starter and a tuna tataki were the smallest portions of food I have seen. Honestly I thought the shrimp... More

Great atmosphere for conversation. Grapefruit Martini, rock shrimp, waygu, and beef tenderloin(I know.....). All Excellent. Definitely check out the old vault door. Service fantastic.

Maybe I had really high expectations that the sushi here was going to be AMAZING since I've heard about Nobu for years, especially as a celebrity hot spot. So when NYC Restaurant Week came around, Nobu was a must-try for me. I ordered the Yellowtail Jalapeño to start and the unique flavors and quality of fish were excellent. Definitely my... More

I'd been whisked away to NYC for a surprise trip my boyfriend had planned.. He proposed at the Top of the Rock on the Sunday and we had an amazing afternoon celebrating and giddy with excitement! My next surprise was he had booked dinner at flagship Nobu that evening which I was over the moon with! We eat out at... More

We had a great time dining at Nobu. Fortunately the stars aligned and we were able to get a table last min. The food was just as delicious as I hoped and our service was top notch.

I had dinner at Nobu (Tribeca) during a recent trip to NYC. There were 6 of us. I live on the west coast and have unusual access to some really high quality fish, sushi. It's something my family and I eat a lot of. I found Nobu to have reasonable quality sushi/sashimi as well as some other interesting choices in... More

We tried the chef's tasting menu and it defeated us. I expected small portions and of course being mostly fresh fish did not expect it to be so filling, but around six courses in we had to admit defeat. We did so with sadness, as every course had been unique and utterly delicious. I will return to do battle once... More

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
