We made an effort to have pizza from a lot of different places while in NY. This was our favorite slice!

What is it with lines in NYC? You see lines, miles long yet people tag on, in this case for a mediocre slice of pizza that you can better anywhere - just don't get it, people acting like sheep. Saw the same at the Cookie Dough, where the line wait was over an hour!!!!

Really? What's all the hype and long lines about? This was not good pizza at all. Went on a Sunday and expected it to be delicious because there was a line. It was very bland, the crust was hard, and just not your "N.Y. pizza". I guess it's in a great location what attracts people. Not work coming here again.

The food there was actually really good. I ordered a large pepperoni deep dish pizza. The taste was unique and savory. When I entered the place, I was greeted instantly and my waiter was perfect. I recommend this place to everyone, mainly because of the unique taste that you will not find anywhere else. They have great menu items and... More

We tried a lot of pizza while in NYC. This was our favourite! Tasty. Fresh. Cheap. And it is standing room only packed with locals which told us that it is a good spot!

If you are from out of town and want a true slice of NYC, you need Joe's Pizza! We went for a really early lunch and our group could choose from awesome pizza or Bagels on the Square right next door. I can imagine this place would be perfect for a spring day, walk around lunch.

Out grabbing a slice and dropped into Joes. Amazing. No bs ingredients and super thin crispy crust. Worth a visit and the wait. While there I saw him look at a pie shake his head and tell everyone it will be another 7 minutes. He then tucked the pie he didn't like on a shelf and didn't serve product he... More

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
