We used to love this restaurant and walked by several times in the past. It appears that they are closed for business .. not sure if they will reopen ...

Really love this place. I have eaten here twice (this wa sthe third time); Never had a bad meal. Lovely place with great menu and a good wine list. Service was good (perhaps a tad slow), food was terrific. I wanted to go here before they close (lost lease I heard), and am certainly glad I went.

Went there for dinner. My wife, who is on a restricted diet, called in advance to ask about getting something plain. They assured her it was "no problem to make what you like"I n fact they were not able or willing to make her a plain piece of fish. She ordered the skate which was absolutely terrible. On two occasions when we have been in NYC, we have gone to Harrisons. The service is great and the food is alway right on. We have not been disappointed with this place and would return again, but need to try something else in NYC>

What a fantastic meal. Delicious food (simple, fresh ingredients). Great wine (great vintages at reasonable and fair prices). And fantastic service (they really took care of us). Can't wait to go again.

Warmly greeted and seated quickly for our 6:45 reservation. I tried the Calves Liver, a staple at this place that has been on the menu forever. Tasty and cooked medium, just as ordered. At our table also tried were the Pork Chop and Skate, all good choices. Sides of French beans and Truffle Risotto too. No dessert this time. Waiter... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
