Friendly stuff. Big portions, a plate full of rice or noodles would be enough for anyone. Quite tasty and relatively cheap.

This is my go-to place in Chinatown for pho. Their big bowl of beef noodles will satisfy the biggest of appetites and is simply delicious. Growing up in the neighborhood, I make my way back here for noodles and grilled chicken rice (#55) when the craving hits... and it hits often!

In short, as the title says, the food was cheap, plentiful and tasty. The interior was a bit worn and dim, but the service was excellent once we found a server who spoke English. Pho was delicious. I also highly recommend an iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk to finish off the meal.

I used to come here all the time as they had the best pho. I left NY in 2014 and when I was back in 2015, I came here right away to fix my pho craving but it tasted different. I thought maybe is the chef's day off so went back again after 2weeks but the pho still doesn't taste... More

I eat pho at least once a week, and I came here because it had great reviews. Hmm...it IS good, better than good, but I've had much better. I wouldn't get on the train to come here, and there are other places in NY that I do/would. It's good, it's cheap, but there are a few thing missing, like no... More

This place is packed with Vietnamese, which is already a good sign. Besides the classics like pho, summer and spring rolls, there are specials on the menu - tried a few and all were delicious. Beer (Tsingdao or Heineken) is served, although it is not on the menu. Staff is also authentic - friendly but determined, and prices are fair.

Great value for money, dishes were excellent and fresh. The waiter was most helpful with recommendations and very charming in teaching us a few nice words in Vietnamese. We were a group of 4 friends and everyone left feeling satisfied and happy. Have highly recommended this restaurant to other friends already and would gladly return.

Really delicious dinner. We all enjoyed our meals. The interior is nothing special but don't let that put you off, the food is good and very fairly priced.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
