It seems moot to critique the Four Seasons as it’s closing in late July. Still, someone may benefit. I had been taken to the restaurant’s Pool Room for a business lunch, when I was working in Manhattan in the 1970s; it was a long-remembered highlight...More

Treated myself to a Christmas Season day in NYC with lunch here. The service was superb. I had a Cobb Salad, NY cheesecake and Irish Coffee. It was an elegant treat and well worth the price.

What a wonderful farewell meal at a world-class restaurant that will be missed by New Yorkers and other fans of freaking awesome food. Staff is amazing ... hope that their new employers know this and pay them well.
