Don't be fooled by the tourist trap restaurants in Little Italy, the small spots are the best. Amici II is real Italian Cuisine. The food was everything we could want. Fresh pasta, wonderful sauces and served at the right pace, no rush. Our salads were fresh crisp and flavorful. The dessert, was heavenly. The prices were so reasonable.

Visited twice during the feast in Little Italy. Best Sangria! Food was delicious and the wait staff was extremely friendly. We will return.

This place is a touristtrap, where you only visit one time. The waiter said the spagetti marinara is not with seafood and cooked as american style .... What's that!

On a warm early fall night, I was just strolling around in Little Italy and ran across Amici Ii, a place I had been to before, quite a few decades ago, and wandered in for a lovely dinner of salad and pasta. I was alone, on business in downtown Manhattan, and really out for a walk, and worked up quite... More

My husband and I visited Amici II on September 26th. It was a very busy Saturday and many people were milling around on the street in Little Italy of NYC. Someone was out on the street with a menu board advertising lunch specials. The lunch specials included an entree and a salad. The service was good. The noise was not... More

Was disappointed , but in fairness the Italian Fest was in progress. They brought the bread and olive oil , my friends wanted butter we had to ask 5 times. The food was ok but not great the service was bad.

After feasting at the San Gennaro festival and gorging on delicious italian food, my fiance and I decided to treat ourselves to a visit to little Italy on our last night in NYC. After wandering up and down we were drawn to Amici II after the greeter was friendly and even referenced 4* on trip advisor. Unfortunately thats when the... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
