He was spot on 16$ for dinner and what you get is a bland tasteless so called Indian Tali dish. I have been to India 15 times and was hoping that a restaurant that takes pride in serving only tali and a different one every day would be authentic. What I got was really terrible white rice and small tali... More

Being fan of Vedic wisdom and high requirements for taste, I could not help but come to this place, as it bears a very special name, which also means their responsibility for the taste. If the food will not be you medicine, then medicine will be your food. This fully goes to this wonderful and cosy space - I will... More

This is a place of fix-priced menus -- around $10 for lunch and $16 for dinner. The food is probably healthy (rice, legumes, cooked vegetables), and you do get "refill" for anything you wish, but the flavors are bland and fail to satisfy the appetite for a restaurant-level Indian meal. Bottom line: too expensive for what it is, and anyway... More

The menu for lunch changes everyday but today's was excellent! I always have to try some indian food when I'm in New York and Ayurveda's did not disappoint! Friendly wait staff too.

I love Indian food but have had no chance to eat it in a restaurant since becoming kosher 27 years ago. This small restaurant has kosher certification and it was a pleasure to eat lunch there. For a fixed price of $9.95 we had a sampler of many different dishes. The only thing we could choose was brown rice or... More

Tiny place, not roomy for a tall guy. kitchen/serving area is dirty. Wash room is not well kept as well. Staff service is not good. Tea was horrible. I only liked the fact that even though only I ate the waiter offered desert to my brother as well. I will not go here again. I can make better food!

Set meal for lunch was just great. - Tasty, good flavours - Great service. In reviews some people have been saying how authentic this place is. (ie the food being just like you'd get in India). We are just passing though NYC on our way home to the UK. We've been travelling for 5 months. We did six weeks in... More

This place has some of the best vegetarian food in the city. It's Indian food not simmered in loads of oil. Spices are superbly balances and at the end of a meal, I feel light and rejuvenated.

At $10+ I think the lunch set is decent. The food isn't incredible but it's satisfying because if the quantity. I wouldn't pay the dinner price. The quality of ingredients not the best (you can taste it) however when I'm craving Indian this is one of my places to visit.

Went there for lunch. Wasn't expecting much for a $10 all you can eat. Food was fresh but lacked flavor. I do not just mean it wasn't spicy, it really lacked any flavor and the dishes served could have been prepared much better. Good value if you are ill and want very mild tasting food. Perhaps dinner is better?
