I had no idea what to order, so I just said "soup with wide noodles" and the server brought me a killer, huge bowl of nourishing noodle soup. They were nice and I was eating alone/ The service was good and also quick.

The very restaurant has a large menu and is big on flavor and taste and service. They have a tasty list of appetizers and are reasonably priced. The restaurant serves a range of Chinese dishes. You must try the ribs in bean sauce and the...More

Come ready to eat! A grand Chinese menu in the West Village on 6th Avenue. It's often crowded weekend evenings, but there are lots of tables, Good for both singles and large groups. Soup bowls as a meal are huge. I opted, though, for the...More

After a whole day of walking and sightseeing New York this place was the right spot for dinner. I visited this restaurant 10 years ago and it didn't disappoint. The food was great, we had Pork dumplings, veggie noodle soup, beef fried rice and the...More

I ordered a wonton noodle dish for delivery for the first time last month (as I was staying near it and saw the super huge restaurant sign of Sammy's, which is a humongous place, each time I walked by there). The wonton noodles were thick...More

Sammy's is a Chinatown restaurant that happens to be in the West Village. I'm a native New Yorker and have been going there for decades. Sammy's is quieter and more spacious than many of the more popular restaurants on Mott Street, which is good becuase...More

Many places in Chinatown, mostly downscale and frequented by locals, serve this type of food. But, if you'd like a little less noise, a bigger variety of menu, and not having to be a local to get through the menu, this is the place. Everything...More

Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted

this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
