Having had Arrachero, Costilla Mestiza and a Ceasar's Chicken Salad we left satisfied, but not overwhelmed but still remembering the...More

Always good and consistent. The shrimp tacos with kale were very tasty and crisp the chicken tacos awesome. Plus they come with a corn salsa of sorts that is sweet and savory. The huevos Rosa were really good. The shrimp ceviche yum. And nothing beats...More

Dropped in for a few drinks and appetizers. We had the tableside guac which was very disappointing after the build up. Very bland and we ordered the spicy and it had no heat at all. Most of the items were not worthy of mention outside...More

I loved this. Ate at the bar while traveling alone. Fresh and tasty but NOT cheap. I would recommend this.

Unfortunately, ours was a very rushed visit prior to the Opera, and I would love to go back! Very well looked after by the staff. Loved the meal!

I'll start with the positives... nice atmosphere and pretty good guacamole - need to cut back a bit on the cilantro and the onion. Now for the disappointments - I had a cucumber mojito that was served in a rock glass with a cucumber thrown...More

Description
Our highly anticipated second Rosa Mexicano location opened in July 2000. Just steps away from Lincoln Center, this impressive David Rockwell-designed space features a 30-foot iridescent blue tile water wall that spans both levels of the restaurant and is adorned with 240 miniature cliff divers. Here you’ll also find a dramatic “floating” staircase made of orange and red terrazzo slabs and backlit panels behind the bar embedded with rose petals. Awarded “Best Restaurant 2000” by Interiors Magazine, this unique, contemporary look ushered in a new era for us at Rosa Mexicano.
