If you are looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza this is the place and actually Certified to be so. But also an extensive wine selection. I suggest getting on their email to learn about the wine tasting events which feature the most select vineyards. Lastly, it's a friendly low key vibe.

Really great thin crust Pizza with sophisticated quality ingredients: prorcini, Robiola etc. These were a real gourmet experience. They had nice wines by the glass. Service was a little shaky, but the good food made it worth it.

On the same street as the excellent Gramercy Tavern, we were looking for a local Italian place, and were warmly greeted and immediately seated, despite it being very busy and having no reservation Very friendly service, a good (mainly) Italian wine list to suit all budgets and some excellent food made for a great night. For starters, the veal meatballs... More

In addition to delicious reasonably priced food, this restaurant is great for a group of friends or a couple with different eating habits because of the diverse menu options. You can of course enjoy a superb pizza right from the oven, or one of the savory pasta dishes, or a classic main course. Mushroom soup is highly recommended. Wine by... More

Walked by this storefront for years and finally went in for lunch. What a nice dining room. Friendly staff, space between tables, nice menu, delicious food and reasonably priced. Also, an extensive wine list. They have a 2 course lunch special for $20.18. You need to ask for lunch special menu. I had the amazing butternut squash soup and pizza... More

I don't think I've ever had such delicious pizza before. The crust was amazing, and it truly reminded me of our recent trip to Naples, Italy! The restaurant was on the small side, and intimate. Service was good, not exceptional, but adequate, and the wine list is quite extensive! I'll be back!

Actually found this restaurant in Wine Spectator as having an excellent wine list with moderate to inexpensive food. The location was very near to where we stayed in the FlatIron district so we gave it a try. What a great surprise. The restaurant is intimate with beautiful decor tucked away from the hustle of the city. The wine list was... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
