We had dinner with children on a busy night in April at this Parisian inspired bistro. Our table was indoors and felt a bit crowded as the tables are very close together. Outdoor seating on the sidewalk looked nice and reminiscent of Paris but all tables were taken. Food wise the Branzino was very good but other dishes such as... More

So sorry you did not like your experience at the bistro, unfortunately in life you can't make everybody happy. We're confident in what we serve that doesn't mean we don't have sometimes off night. I bet you do have every once a while an off day in whatever you do. More

A Favorite of ours. A little bit of Paris. There is a little table in the back where legend has it Jackie O would lunch. Wonderful service. We come here often.

I tend to choose a restaurant by following my instinct and a look at the menu. I scored again here. In Soho it is not difficult to find good restaurants, but this deserves a special mention for authenticity, outstanding service and very good wine choices. After a good Niçoise and a Côte du Rhône one is at peace with the... More

We go there often with our friends who introduced it to us. It is a fine french bistro with a varied menu, moderate prices, friendly and fast service. It is a genuine French restaurant with very well prepared dishes. Our favorites have been the lamb dishes, fresh fish, and the great array of appetizers in bistro style (big portions, moderate... Enjoyed a lovely lunch recently. Service was friendly and efficient. Lunch selections were varied. And nice wines by the glass. We both had the coq au vin which was tasty and tender. Prices reasonable considering in the middle of Soho. Would definitely go back for lunch or dinner.

If you love a great bustling bistro ambiance, this is a great place to soak it up, right in the middle of the charming SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. The service is great and customers are cheerful. I wish the same could be said for the food. One person had cassoulet and it was great, as was the coq au vin.... More

I aIlways enjoy going to bistro les amis when I am NYC. I usually go for lunch and I am usually alone. The food is good and the atmosphere is cozy. The bread they serve is outrageously amazing. The memu is very french and I always enjoy it.

Cute little place but it was so crowded-tables very close together. Food was super and wine list extensive. Service was good and selections varied. we had the traditional turkey and it was superb.

My brother and I joined our family members for a NYC dinner to celebrate each of our children's birthdays. Our kids live in NYC now so we wanted to celebrate at a nice place with great food. Bistro Les Amos did not disappoint. Our server and staff were superb. They were fun, jovial and always available to help with anything... More

I recently stumbled upon this little French restaurant. It is completely unpretentious, and reminds me of a neighborhood bistro in Paris. I have had lunch and dinner there, and both have been very good. The cassoulet is great in colder months. The times I have been there, this restaurant has not been mobbed like other Spring St eateries.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
