Must go bar, loved it. Great service and hospitality. And a new twist on espresso martinis courtesy of Sean the bartender!

We chose this bar for a quick bite to eat having just arrived in New York from the UK. It appeared to have good reviews and was very close to our Hotel. On entering we were greeted immediately and offered a seat straightaway. It was a Saturday evening but appeared to be very quiet. There is a list of special... More

Good food, good prices, good service. Lots of TVs for games but music playing instead of the game commentary. Of course I had to have bangers and mash, or as there menu calls it, Irish sausage and mash, but it was very good. Bathrooms were clean too.

Greeted by friendly host, server was efficient and food was excellent!! The best French Dip I had ever had. It was served with steak fries and a pickle. Interesting point, Law and Order SVU had filmed there the day before.

While the bar bites were good, the salads and vegetables in any of the dishes were spoiled and not worth the money at all.

We took advantage of Get Low Downtown New York which takes place every Tuesday throughout the Summer. (DOWNTOWNNY.COM/GETLOW) This promotion is to encourage new business to downtown restaurants providing either 20% off food or buy one get one free drinks. We were in the area and decided to try the Beekman Pub. My friend had the turkey and stuffing and... More

Beekman offers a fine menu of classic pub items and fine food. Full service bar offers imported brews on tap. Great service, and of course excellent beers.

First time in New York. Came back from crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and needed somewhere to "recover" as it was very overcast, cold, damp and windy.Came across Beekman's Pub and we were delighted with the atmosphere. Able to relax and hear ourselves speak, unlike in some much noisier pubs/restaurants we had visited. Very welcoming and efficient staff, especially Darragh ("maith... More

Popped in on Monday the 28th of March for a couple of drinks. It's a typical New York tavern with a good selection of drinks where you can rub shoulders with some true New Yorkers. Didn't try the food but would go back again for drinks.

Saturday's are quiet in the streets of surrounding Wall St for obvious reasons. We came across this bar by accident and glad we did. The bar has seating in Botha, tables, high tables and at the bar. The beer of the month sampled and ordered we perused the menu. A typical pub menu so no surprises. We ordered soup and... More

Description
The Beekman Pub is a New York City Irish Bar that has been owned and operated by Jimmy and Eddie Robinson since 1991 and has been a downtown restaurant hot spot since 1936. The Beekman Pub combines cold beer, fresh food and friendly service in a comfortable setting located just one block east of City Hall in downtown NYC. In our irish bar we have an excellent variety of beer, wine and liquor, and the Beekman is one of only a few downtown irish bars that serves a perfect pint of Guinness. We do hope that our pub will become one of your favorite downtown restaurants for business lunches or for just having a drink with co-workers at the end of the day. Since 1936, The Beekman has been catering to Wall Street's biggest & best appetites. Sit down for a drink or spend some time enjoying daily Irish delicacies, seafood specialties & our famous burgers. We now have Direct TV, All NBA Games, 10 Flat Screen TV's throughout the bar. We have MSG, All Knicks, Rangers, Devils and Islanders Games.
