Well this is the 2nd time we have eaten here and it certainly didn't disappoint. We pre booked over the phone the previous day and managed to get a table for 6:30 pm, and when we got there it was already busy. We had a cosy table at the back of the restaurant and the staff came over straight away... More

Found the food good but not the best I have had in the area. Service was good. Tables close together which is the norm in NYC.

My wife and I decided to try Angelo's spur of the moment. We did not have a reservation, which I highly advise you get one, so we hung out at the bar for about 40 minutes which was fine. The bar tender was fun. When we got seated it wasn't the best table in the house, but our food came... More

Very good Italian food. If our server wasn't so gruff, would have rated our experience higher. Despite an 8PM reservation, we waited 1 hour for our table but the food was worth the wait. Good company, good food, wait staff definitely could have been more cordial, even for New York City.

My trip to New York is not complete until I go to Angelo's of Mulberry Street!!! I always think I'll order something else... but that Petti di PolIo Parmigiana just keeps popping out of that menu saying... Prendimi (Pick Me)! Love the tomatoe sauce!!!! <3 <3

We dined here with four other people. The restaurant was quite crowded as the Feast of San Gennaro was going on at the time. We had a reservation, but still had to wait a little while for our table. Several other customers had to wait as well. The restaurant was so busy that it was understandable. Also, when we were... More

My family and friends have been going to this establishment for about 30 years. The owner and staff are as friendly and accommodating as going to your Mothers for Sunday Dinner. The menu has all the best Italian offerings one could want. In all the years we have been going to Angelo's I have yet to get a bad meal.... More

We tried to get a reservation at several restaurants in Little Italy at the last minute on a Friday night. We were happy to find a table at Angelo's. The service was good. The restaurant was very busy so it was very loud. It's hard to find a place these days that isn't loud. We had two very good dishes... More

Angelo's never disappoints! We have ate here on several occasions and other then the quintessential NYC experience of a small, jammed restaurant, this place is the real deal as far as Italian! It's so worth the trip. Our table had rigatoni vodka, veal parm, and gamberi angelo. We also had starters of peppers and the mozzarella and tomatoes. I'll start... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
