Honestly, in a city as friendly as New York, it's odd to be treated like a loser, but Bread was really good at it. When I asked what brand of cachaca was used in their caipirinha (on the drink menu, not a special request), our...More

The pizzas are pretty good, and have a thin crust unlike many other deep pan american style pizza deliveries downtown. However, my biggest problem is the absolute rudeness and lack of customer sevice in this place. After my order had gone wrong and I had...More

The atmosphere makes me feel as if I am on vacation from my city (New York). Open space is conducive to feeling as if we were in a home environment (not on top of the others in the restaurant). The food - not a morsel...More

You can't go wrong eating here. Food is unusually good - I recommend the Caprese made with buffalo mozzarella and a baked tomato Also recommend the pink mojitos!

Bread was uncrowded for Saturday brunch. It looked as though they had a full bar and stay open quite late, as well.

Ive had better vegetarian pasta before; the veggie lasagna was bland, as was the fusilli pesto. The bruschetta was boring. But the outdoor seating was really nice, and the service was friendly and accommodating.

Not quite sure why it's called Bread but it was a good Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and it wasn't too pricey by New York standards. The lasagne was great and the staff were friendly.

I LOVED that there was a separate vegetarian menu, and that it offered some unique choices (e.g., quinoa risotto, which was excellent). In fact, what we didn't have was bread. The service was fast, the staff friendly. It seemed a bit pricey in my book,...More

Whenever I'm in the city, I always make sure to set aside an afternoon to stop into Bread. It has the feeling of a neighborhood eatery, excellent wine selection, and delicious small plates. I've never felt rushed, servers have always been friendly.

What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title

filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the
Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan
offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art
galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting
film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes
