You have not properly figured out dim sum until you have tried the platter in this Michelin-starred Chinatown eatery. Hot, tender and with an almost limitless range of nuances in taste. I would have never believed such a variety would have been possible. Given the quality the price is a steal. The service is quick, sometimes hurried, given the number... More

It seems a little like damning with feint praise but it is good - not great. Welcome was lukewarm and environment is very basic. Both of which are ok. Dim sum was good standard. Rice and minced duck average. Value for money is pretty good. Overall worth a visit

The two vegetarian mains we got from here, garlic bok choy and the spicy green beans, were delicious; however, the two entrees—vegetarian spring rolls and the vegetarian dumplings—were nothing special. While the food was somewhat enjoyable, the service and attitude of the restaurant's workers was terrible. The wait staff were rude, spoke little English and kept hovering around our table.... More

Chinatown is always fun. Hard to find good Dim Sum for dinner. But this restaurant was a great find. Got a table right away. Great choices, also had some fried rice high was very good. Reasonably priced enjoyed this very much

Please don't go here. I got dragged here by some friends from it of town. As a Chinese person and a new yorker I can tell you this place is nothing but a piece of crap. Look inside; there are no Chinese people eating in here, just a bunch of yuppies, hipsters, and tourists getting ripped off. The food is... More

The food here is absolutely delicious. And not the traditional dum sum pushed on a cart. Instead you order and the food comes out in waves. Takes out some of the element of surprise, but ensures that the food is fresh.

Landed from the UK, transferred to hotel in China Town, wanted a tasty authentic NY eatery and stumbled upon Dim Sum Go Go. The place was packed out with locals on Christmas Day, queuing out of the door. Glad we were at the front of the queue. Attentive, authentic, tasty, great value, great atmosphere. Would recommend for the NY china... More

This is a really solid dim sum choice in Chinatown. The food is tasty and fresh. The menu choices are not the longest and widest but they have all the basics and then some. This place will not feel as "authentic" as other Chinatown places - it could be Anywhere USA. But the food is worth it.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
