My friend and I came here for a pre theatre dinner on a Saturday night. The Little Brasil section of NYC is located immediately to the East of Times Square so it’s an excellent place to get a fantastic meal before a Broadway show. The...More

Went to dinner here for a Birthday. The service and food was great. They even put a candle on the desert. We will come here again.

Me and my husband came for dinner before a broadway show. We both ordered the carpaccio as an appetizer and the Picanha for entree. Both were really good! Also liked the side dishes that came with the Picanha. Had the Sledgehammer Cabernet sauvignon, which was...More

This was a very intimate restaurant in a busy area of Manhattan. Such a nice atmosphere with great service. Our waiter was excellent—he gave us 2 recommendations. My daughter and I shared 2 plates: branzino with shrimp and very tasty coconut sauce and the beef...More

Just walked in off the street. The Beef Stroganoff is out of this world. I asked the waiter to surprise me with a dessert and he chose cream cheese mouse with guava paste. It was so amazing that I had another. Finished off with a...More

Terrible service, staff is rude, manager is not able to serve customers and control employees and owner is sometimes there but serves no purpose at all. Expensive and not worth the aggravation. Food is mediocre at best.More

Overall, this is a pretty solid restaurant. The food was very good, and the rice and beans were some of the best I've ever had. The portions were pretty sizable as well. My only complaint was probably the picanha. It needed a little more seasoning,...More

Description
What sets Emporium Brasil aside from others restaurants is definitely our food. This may seem obvious, but it is based on our customer feedback. On top of that, many people recognize how reasonable our prices are and we are sort of known for being a hidden gem in NYC. When a customer walks into our business they can expect a friendly atmosphere where you have a meal with family and friends. While outside everything and everyone is, busy and rushed, at Emporium Brasil you can have a meal while cocooned in a peaceful environment. The flavors are pungent and unusual in everything from hearty stews to rustic grills and delicate sautés. Emporium does have a way with beef, and a Latin flair for the dramatic-steaks arrive on sizzling platters, and all the food is rolled out on tablecloth-covered carts. There is also Samira, our executive chef, who provides an adventure filled culinary survey course in Brazilian cuisine, one of a sort not fount in most New York City Brazilian restaurants.
