My fiance and I came to Smith's after arriving in New York from Buffalo on a morning flight. We put our luggage in our Times Square hotel, bundled up, and walked around to explore. My fiance had heard of Smith's before, so we decided to give it a try. The food and atmosphere were pretty on-par with what we would... More

Evening meal sat watching the large sports screens sipping a pint of lager. Food was good and service was to. I had a burger with fries my wife had a house salad with large piece of grilled salmon and my son had the Taco's. All went away satisfied.

We stopped here because our 21yr old liked the look of it. We asked for a table but it was right by the door and she said it would've 20 mins if we wanted to wait so we did in the adjoining bar area. She never took our name and we felt she had no intention of coming to find... More

I had hopes. No, really, I did. The menu looked good, I was in the right mood for something pubby, and I was meeting an old friend for lunch. I ordered some sort of chicken sandwich and yes, it was edible, but just expected more. I splurged on onion rings and those too were just... meh. It felt like the... More

I used to go to Smith's once a week for lunch or dinner when I worked in the area and always loved it. I don't work in the city anymore, but stop there for a great meal and a beer whenever I'm around. My most recent visit, I had the absolute pleasure of having Damian as my server. He was... More

Smith's Bar can be defined as a casual, corner bar. Looking for a beer and a burger? Look no further. Prices are good (for NYC); service is fast but not rushed. My first visit was during the summer, when it was an "open air" restaurant with a band offering good old rock 'n roll. My return trip was in February,... More

I visited this place couple of times, first for drinks and second for drinks and food. Each time, it was pretty crowded but I was able to find a seat and enjoy the bar atmosphere with sports on TV. They have a decent selection of beer and food. Second time I tried chicken tenders with buffalo sauce but I was... More

Went here a for a couple of nights on our recent holiday.Food, atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was excellent. Service was spot on and the prices for food and drink were good.St patricks day in here was so good, especially the guy who entertained us with his badpipes after the parade finished. Will be back again on our next visit

Local pub/restaurant. Average priced for the city usually pretty relaxing for a lunch hour. They have open windows and a huge bar and booths. Regular bar food. BLT was good. Convenient place.

We were looking for a place to get a quick meal after seeing a show. The menu had a variety of delicious appetizers and sandwich's. We ordered the Nacho's, highly recommend them! Their sliders were cooked perfect, and they use good quality meat! Service was friendly and fast.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
