I ate at Cafe Un Deux Trois after a matinee performance at the theatre next door. I visit France frequently and I can therefore convey this is not true French food. The boeuf bourguignon was watery, the somewhat raw carrots were prepared in haste to plop on top at the last minute prior to serving and the desserts are, well,... More

My teenage daughter and I stopped here for an early dinner after a 1 pm Broadway matinee. Seated right away. Service was excellent, friendly. I had the bow tie pasta which was very good. Not too heavy. My daughter had a crepe which she loved. Shared creme brulee for dessert. We were in and out in about an hour. Nice... More

Came here twice for breakfast, first time it was a novelty as the place came recommended.... Not knowing prices, we didn't know how expensive things were. Second time we were pushed for time and it was on our route... Yeah, lovely food, but Luke warm, ordered a Hot Chocolate as they had no Decaf tea, and it was cold, sent it... More

This is a New York institution. I haven't been ther in 35 years and it's still very popular with excellent food. Informal. Great location. Exceptional service.

Almost all the dishes that we had were extremely unforgettable. Two were bad. You can easily find better food in the theater district.

We love stopping at the Cafe Un Deux Trois when we are seeing Broadway plays, shopping, and Times Square. The restaurant has French food that is delicious and the crepe servings are large bad delicious. It is best to make reservations during the peak traveling times in NYC. Would highly recommend this French Cafe.

I needed a more substantial breakfast than the Premier Hotel provided, and this cafe was next door - good ambiance, perfect service, very tasty Eggs Norwegian (and they left off the Hollandaise as requested) delivered promptly.

This place has been here for close to 40 years. It has not improved. The food was fair at best and the service rude & terrible. Not worth eating here.

The staff was accommodating even though we didn't have reservations. I recommend the French Onion Soup. Typical prices for a NYC restaurant. Conveniently located near the Hudson Theater.

Food and service was fine - straightforward French style restaurant- very central to Times Square - not expensive and not crowded (probably because we were between pre and post theatre times

Cafe Un Deux Trois has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977. We opened when the neighborhood was still very rough , and quickly became THE brasserie to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away. We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night. We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme. The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and an extensive breakfast. We have also added a selection of savory and sweet crepes to our dining choices.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
