First stop after checking at at the W Union Square, great brunch food, nice warm atmosphere of a country cottage. Ate by the fireplace on the second floor. We ordered three different omelets and all were delicious. Great french press coffee too. Nice, attentive staff.

We went for breakfast at 8:30 on a Sunday morning. So nice that they open early! We had eggs florentine and salmon Benedict . Both were good -on homemade corn biscuit with decent hollandaise sauce. Service was quick and friendly. We loved the farmhouse decor.

The food was so good. We had two different pies and both were delicious. It was food that you never wanted to end and we've recommended to all our friends. It's homely décor and is very relaxing inside and the staff are super polite.

In a quiet part of the city, Friend is a darkish, oldish, creekidity, tightish eatery that has a twist on the usual neighborhood eatery fare. You feel very at ease here. There many small rooms on the street level and upstairs. While the tables may...More

We've gone to this restaurant a few times while in NYC, but for breakfast only. The food is good but there's a lot of butter....Portion sizes were decent. For dinner though, while food is good, prices are expensive and portions are very small...

Yes I believe it was open all day and there are subway stops nearby but check the times because as a holiday I think it was a slightly reduced service
