Ordered a lentil and avocado salad. Had a long wait (even though the place was not full) and what turned up was a load of little leaves with lentils, hardly any dressing (very unusual for restaurants in the States as I usually have the opposite problem) and what could only be described as one quarter of a small avocado chopped... Very good, fresh food. We had only a breakfast there. The experience is good. I recommend it but only if you miss FRANCE (or Belgium : the founder Alain Coumont). You can also take away.

I popped in here to grab a bite to go in the middle of the week. I got an almond milk latte and the brown rice pudding. The latte was not very good. Very bitter, but at the same time somehow tasteless. I could tell low quality almond milk was used and not the typical Barista favorite of coffee shops.... More

The last two times I visited this restaurant I was a bit disappointed. First, on the last visit I had to call the hostess over because the waitress was taking orders from everyone except us, even though we had arrived before them. I then had to ask the waitress to clean the table because it was dirty. She passed a... More

The food was a bit interesting and very good. The sandwhiches were better than the soups, but the soups were nice too.

Easy place to stop by for a break from walking around the city. Large and plenty of space. Wasn't busy at 2pm. There was a boss making class going on which looked fun. We had a coffee and a super green drink which was healthy and pretty good.

We have eaten at this chain several times which has expanded significantly through out NYC. They are all the same theme French with country farm house decor. Menu is french. Although the service is good, they are noisy, the food is average and they are very over priced. A average salad with no fish or chicken or meat added is... More

Maybe better to go at "off hours"? Visited during lunch time after morning at a museum - bad 😩 idea! The food (salads, sandwiches, & soups) are great. The desserts are amazing. BUT the food may not be worth a long wait. The aggravating thing was being being given an estimated wait time that took longer than stated AND watching... More

Every time I visit NYC I go to one of the LPQ restaurants, most often at the Lexington AV & 65th. I simply adore food and bread there:-) Very cozy atmosphere. Sadly I need to add that the service is getting worse:-( my last three visits were very disappointing in regard to client service: slow, clumsy, forgetful and even arrogant.... More

I went to have breakfast, it wasn't a busy hour and I sat next to the window to enjoy the street view. The staff was friendly but they were extremely slow for the tables they had. I ordered a chai latte and some granola parfait, both things were good. I thought it was a little rude that they were giving... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
