Happened to be staying right across the street, what a wonderful surprise! Our first impression was the great friendly staff, things only got better from there. The shrimp cocktail was outstanding! The house chopped salad was just as great as the reviews say. Although not...More

Pietro's is solid. The food is old school and the quality amazing. The best veal in New York. Highly recommend the veal parm. Huge and perfectly pounded, breaded and cooked. Makes me hungry writing this.

Last night was my second visit. Same perfectly decent old-school Italian food, but I was particularly impressed by the outstanding service and friendly welcome. That will bring me back whenever I'm in the City.

Neither fancy or pretentious, Pietro's is a solid Italian restaurant. It offers large portions of Italian standards, good service, and prices you expect in Midtown Manhattan. The chopped salad was quite good, the spinach was terrific, but my veal Milanese was unremarkable.

Great neighborhood feel with minimalist decor. Well-heeled crowd seems to be attracted to the bar scene and to the solid performance from the kitchen. In NYC one can locate great steaks in a variety of places. The beef here is fine quality, but not the...More

If you are worried about price this is the wrong place. Figure about 100 a person. Priced like a nyc steakhouse.
