Amazing service, atmosphere and food right in the middle of the city. We were looking for a quiet retreat after a crazy day and everything about our visit was exactly what we needed.

Maggie's had typical pub food and does it all well. Burgers and shepherd's pie are tops. Fish and chips are good, although slightly rubbery. Salads are good as well. It can get crowded at lunchtime, so call ahead if you can. Usually, you can walk right in anyway.

Went there with my coworkers and had the grilled steak salad and it was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and let us sit there a long time during busy lunch.

Having visited on a day it was closed, we went back for late lunch and were not disappointed. We sat upstairs, very quiet but it was the time of day, Noisy in the bar area. Food was well cooked and enjoyable as was the Brooklyn beer.

Stopped here for a quick bite & drinks, what a relaxing quiet bar. The bartender was very attentive, poured a perfect Guinness & very knowledgable. A must stop if your near the area!

Great looking Irish bar and grill in the midtown area. We were just strolling by with friends and dropped in for a drink. The waitress told us about their burger and brew special and we all jumped at it. The burgers were top drawer. They have an outstanding selection of Irish beers and I treated myself to a Smithwick’s Irish... More

We have visited MP over the past 20 years during occasional visits to NYC, and again enjoyed the service and comfortable surroundings.

I have eaten at Maggies Place probably about 10 times in the past few years as it is close to Grand Central Station where I catch the train home. I was there, again, this past Saturday, March 5th, and was not disappointed. I ordered the "steak dinner" which included a decent size steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
